Earlier this year I spent four days at Mount Pleasant Studios with Hogarth and Publicis Paris who commissioned me to shoot stills and direct the brand’s new TVC for Pure Life spring water. We shot the moving image on a green screen cove, working with a VFX supervisor in order to add things like exploding fruit in post production. Alongside this we had a stills set running so talent could jump from one to the other which was a fun and dynamic way of working. We produced two 10 second films plus 10 images per day - the images were all similar to the above; interchanging cast and moving through a range of products from bottles to cans and all the different flavours too. A great big thank you to my lovely agency Peter Bailey for winning the work.
I spent some time in Leicester recently, working on a lovely video and photography project for @soanebritain - We travelled to the last rattan workshop in Britain for the day to find out how they make their fabulous furniture. It was a pleasure to create photography and video content for them as it’s something I really enjoy shooting as a package.
My old book was starting to look a little dog eared, so it was time for an update! Very lucky to have worked with designer & head of creative at Fiorucci, Aaron Skipper. To develop the branding which now runs through out the website, marketing materials & stationary. Then off to Calverts Co-operative; a design, print and production house in Bethnal Green. We printed my images & postcards using a lovely, thick cotton based paper. The book and protective courier bag were handmade by the one and only Cathy Roberts at at Delta Design Studio.
I'm delighted to announce new representation by the wonderful Peter Bailey Company. Having met the team and known of their work for sometime, it's really exciting to be included on their roster of exceptional photographers. I'll be heading out to meetings very soon with my new book!
